Hardware And Software - defiend

The computer equipment and its components are collectively known as hardware (HW). These devices are physically identifiable and are subject to alteration only with mannual intervention. In this sense they are hard as compared to programs. In case of a program, it can be easily changed by a single instruction or command. In this sense programs are soft part of the computer system and known as software (SW).
