The role of each type of bus is enumerated below:
Data Bus: A group of wire is connected between the control unit and other sections of the microprocessor to permit two-way transfer of data.
Address Bus: A separate group of wire is connected between the control unit and the memory dedicated to address memory location only, both internal and external.
Control Bus: This is used for transmission of control signal to synchronize the operations of various sections.
Control Unit: The control unit of the microprocessor connects all the sections and controls the sequence of operations.
