Bus – “A bus is a group of circuits interconnections between all sections of the micro-processor.” The various sections of the microprocessor are intricately connected to one another by buses enabling flow of data between one section to another. The role of each type of bus is is different and meaningful in the function of the CPU. For example, a group of wire is connected between the control unit and other sections of the microprocessor to permit two-way transfer of data, known as data bus.
