Programmable computers are general-purpose computers meant for versatile applications as per the user’s needs. This is possible by developing programs and running the same in the computers to perform the desired task. Different programs will achieve different results through the same computer. These computers are designed to meet varied purposes as per the user specified programme loaded into the machines. On the other hand, computers can also be designed permanently stored inside the microprocessor chips. Such codes are not alterable.
